Returns

If you are unsatisfied with your Griffin product, or have simply changed your mind about a purchase from the webstore at griffintechnology.com.au, we may be able to set up a return for you. Returns for refunds are available for purchases made directly from Griffin Technology's website for 30 days after the original purchase date. Refunds will be issued to the card you used during your original purchase.

All returns must have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number. You can request an RMA, or find out if you are eligible for a return, by contacting our Consumer Support team. Unsolicited returns cannot be processed.

WARRANTIES

Conditions Of Warranty

  • The consumer must retain proof of purchase for the warranty period.
  • The warranty period is valid from the original date of purchase of the product.
  • This warranty extends only to the defects in material or workmanship occurring under normal use of the product.
  • The consumer must return the good, original packaging (if reasonably feasible) and proof of purchase to make a claim against this warranty. Griffin may elect to have the purchaser dispose of the product to save the cost of shipping, provided the purchaser has contacted Griffin Technology Support with the information provided in the clause II of the "Procedure for Claims" section. If the replacement product is supplied, it is warranted for the remainder of the warranty period, from the original date of purchase.
  • The product packaging bears Griffin's Warranty Logo and was purchased directly from Griffin's website or an authorised retailer.
This Warranty Does Not Cover
  • Goods that are damaged as a result of misuse by the consumer.
  • Goods that are damaged as a result of other third party products.
  • Any misrepresentations given that are not covered in this warranty

  • Contact the Griffin support team firstly to confirm your warranty and receive a returns address.
  • The consumer must return the goods as per the requirements as stated in 'Conditions of Warranty'.

FOR PRODUCTS PURCHASED FROM OUR RETAIL PARTNERS
All warranty issues, returns and refunds must be raised with the store of purchase, if purchased in a retail outlet. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law dictate that the retailer you bought our product from must offer you a replacement or refund. It is against the law for a retailer to refuse you a refund or replacement and send you to us. In the event of you not being able to engage the retailer (e.g because they no longer operate) about a warranty issue, you may then contact us.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

This warranty is your sole remedy and Griffin Technology shall not be liable for any damages, whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or otherwise, including lost revenues and lost profits, arising out of any theory of recovery, including statutory, contract or tort. In no event will Griffin Technology's entire liability exceed the purchase price of this product. Some states and provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state and province to province.

Griffin Technology “Griffin” warrants its products against defects in materials and workmanship for the period that the product is specified as under warranty. Griffin will repair or replace its product if, due to defective parts or workmanship, it does not perform as specified within it's warranty period. This warranty covers only repair or replacement of the product itself. In no event does this warranty extend to instances where the product is damaged through uses for which it was not intended, misuse, mishandling, removal and/or re-installation, neglect, accident or tampering. In no event shall Griffin be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or lost profits arising out of or related to this product, or the performance or breach thereof, even if Griffin has been advised of the possibility thereof. Griffin’s liability to customer, if any, shall in no event exceed the total of the purchase price. Some states do not permit the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, therefore, sections of the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty is in lieu of any other warranty, expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, any warranty of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose.This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, or damage to any non-Griffin product used in connection with this product. Any representations or promises inconsistent, or in addition to this warranty are unauthorised and shall not be binding upon Griffin.
